A Sullivan woman is facing a Class X Felony after police arrested her for intent to deliver methamphetamine.

On March 5th, the East Central Illinois Task Force executed a search warrant at Dorothy Meador's (59) home, according to the Moultrie County State's Attorney's Office.

During their search, investigators found over 20 grams of substances that tested positive for methamphetamine, said officials.

Court records show Meador told police she intended to sell the meth out of her Sullivan home, and regularly traveled to Decatur to obtain the drugs.

Meador was released on home confinement as a result of the the SAFE-T Act, according to the State's Attorney's Office.

She's due back in court in July, and if convicted, Meador faces between six and 60 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
