In a University Newsletter, EIU has announced that Zaria Blaxton died of natural causes last week.
Blaxton was a first-year student living in Taylor Hall.
"Any students needing support may reach out to the Dean of Students Office or the Student Counseling Clinic," wrote Joshua Reinhart, the EIU Public Information Coordinator. "Faculty and Staff may utilize the Employee Assistance Program."
