A business program at a local university is getting some national recognition.

Fortune Magazine listed Indiana State University's Scott College of Business MBA program as one of the best in the country, the school announced Wednesday.

ISU's program ranked 60th overall, and is one of only four Indiana programs to receive national recognition from Fortune, according to university officials.

"Our mission is to provide a high-quality business education that prepares students with the skill and knowledge for success while remaining flexible and affordable.", said Dean Terry Daugherty. "The rankng by Fortune affirms this purpose, and the Scott College of Business is honored to be recognized as having one of the best MBA programs in the country."

Several factors played into being nationally ranked by Fortune, including cost of tuition, graduation rates, and base salaries of recent graduates, according to ISU.
