Big Blue Volleyball Ranked Third in CCIW Preseason Poll

Millikin University's volleyball team has been ranked third place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin preseason women's volleyball poll.
The Big Blue brought in 49 points in the polls, and North Park was selected as the repeat champions, with 55 points.
Millikin comes into the season with a familiar roster, returning all but one member from their team last season.
Senior outside hitter Kailee Itzenhuiser returns to the Big Blue after leading the team in kills and service aces last year, according to Millikin athletics.
The team will have to adjust to new coaching this year after naming Whitney Nichols as the Big Blue's new head coach.
Nichols joined the Millikin coaching staff in 2022 as an assistant coach and then became assistant head coach during the 2023 season, according to Millikin athletics.
