Coles County Airport Receives Prestigious Award

The Coles County Airport Authority received high honors from the National Civil Air Patrol.
Airport Manager Andrew Fearn appeared at their national conference on August 19th to accept the Category 3 Frank G. Brewer Award.
Fearn said they were recognized for their dedication to the Civil Air Patrol and the annual Johnson Flight Academy, which offers 10 hours of flight training to cadets.
The Civil Air Patrol said the award is given to organizations who have made singificant contributions to the aerospace field for at least five years.
