Future of Charleston Town Meeting Planned

Residents of Charleston and the surrounding area will be invited to attend a town meeting.
The meeting will take place at the Charleston High School Auditorium next month on September 12th at 5:45pm.
City leaders will meet with participating members of the community to discuss ways to promote shopping, community life, parks, town beautification, arts, and tourism.
Charleston mayor Brandon Combs and Eastern Illinois University President Jay Gatrell will attend and give presentations.
All charleston community members are encouraged to attend to get involved with the community development and learn more about the project planning, said meeting organizers.
