A Central Illinois Fire Department is having a get together for community members on Thursday.
The Urbana Fire Department is hosting the public open house.
The Department hopes to get feedback on two new firehouses being built along South Philo Road and North Lincoln Avenue.
Representatives from FGM Architects, the group behind the construction, as well as staff and city council members will be at the open house Thursday to open discussions and answer questions from community members, said city officials.
The meeting will take place in the Urbana City Council Chambers on South Vine Street starting at 5:30 P.M.
Organizers of the event said a majority of the Urbana City Council may be in attendance.
