Millikin University will be offering a new major at the start of the fall 2023 semester.
The new major is Agribusiness where students will learn about business and agriculture.
Specifically, students will learn about how to operate and navigate a business in the agriculture industry, said university officials.
Along with their class, agribusiness students will have several internship opportunities in Decatur and all-around central Illinois, said university officials.
Out of the 285 colleges in Illinois, only 32 offer programs in agriculture said Millikin officials.
