The Christmas season is fastly approaching and that marks the start of light displays.
Mattoon park officals are working on setting up the lightworks display in Peterson Park.
The attraction will feature thousands of holiday lights and 108 displays, said officals.
Officals said the light display will be ready for a public walk through on November 17th at 5pm.
The light display will be open from Novemeber 19th to December 26th.
Officals said Peterson Park will be closed to traffic starting Monday October 24th.
During the week the display will be open from 5 - 9pm on Sunday through Thursday and on Fridays and Saturdays it will be open from 5 - 10pm.
