Students at Charleston Middle School are getting more hands on in science, thanks to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Officials said Sarah Bush Lincoln donated new science equipment including electronic balances, timers, temperature probes, and a charging station for the probes.
They said this is part of a program Hematology Specialist Amy Pfeiffer started to help students get interested in science and health.
Pfeiffer said Sarah Bush is always looking to help where they can.
Officials said the equipment will be used by two seventh grade science teachers and two eighth science grade teachers.
They said science is a required subject for all middle school students.
