A Charleston man will spend more than two decades in prison for his role in a Charleston armed robbery.

Last September, 28-year-old Alfred Jerry pleaded guilty to robbing the Team Wireless store on Woodfield Drive on May 2 2019.

The U.S. Attorney's office says the robbery was captured on the store's security system ... and showed a masked man waving a gun and ordering two employees into a back room.

The video showed the gunman threatening to shoot the employees if they didn't comply.

Investigators say Jerry took off from the store with a trash bin full of merchandise and cash, but was caught minutes after the robbery.

A judge sentenced Jerry to 22 years in prison.
