A mobilization ceremony took place Tuesday honoring soldiers answering the call of duty. About 400 soldiers from the Illinois National Guard's 2nd Battalion 130th infantry division are deploying, but before they do, a ceremony took place in Carbondale at Southern Illinois University. During the event, state and military officials spoke, including Governor J.B. Pritzker.
