LSC Communications formerly known as R.R. Donnelley, announced January 14th, it will close its doors in Mattoon.
The company which prints magazines and cataloges, says it's trying to keep up in a digital world.
Chairman of LSC, Thomas Quinlan III, said they're supporting employees by looking into potential relocation opportunities.
According to Angela Griffin of Coles Together her office is working with Mattoon City Officials and LSC to put together a job fair at the companies facilities before it closes.
City Administrator, Kyle Gill, says the city is looking to market the plant to new businesses.
The closure is expected to be complete by July of 2020.
