Plea Entered in Marshall Animal Abuse Case

A Marshall Illinois teen facing animal cruelty charges pleads guilty.

In court Monday, Lindsey accepted a plea for his role in the incident last October.

According to court records, Lindsey will serve 15 days in jail and be placed on 24 months probation for depiction of animal cruelty.

Along with the jail time, Lindsey is to have no contact with the other two co-defendents, outside of school, and will testify against them if called to do so.

Lindsey will be allowed to travel out of state for college oblications during probation.

This case all started after a video posted on the internet showed the abuse of cats.

Lindsey is accused of recording the abuse.

Two other Marshall high school juveniles also face charges.
