Police arrest a man they believe was running a Champaign prostitution ring.
Police say 54-year-old Albert Redmon, pictured below, was arrested on Wednesday at a hotel.
Redmon, a building service worker at the University of Illinois, has been booked on a preliminary charge of promoting prostitution.
Police say investigators posing as solicitors’ arranged for Redmon to bring a woman to the hotel where police arrested him after he agreed to exchange sex for money.
Police say Redmon's university I-D and keys have been seized and he was issued a no-trespassing notice for the campus.
