A Mahomet man has been sentenced to 36 months probation and must register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Officials said 47-year-old Timothy Taylor was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with two minors.
Police said one of the minors reported the abuse to his mother who then contacted police.
Taylor must also attend sex offender treatment and evaluation.
