The amount of brush fires reported to authorities this week has grown by the day, but most of these fires are perfectly under control. Not just under control, but Intentional! News Watch's Lacey Clifton tagged along with Chief Larry Newby and the Hutton Fire District on a brush fire training exercise to watch a burn first hand. Newby says if you're looking for someone to burn for you, you can contact your local fire district to see if it offers that service. He says it's helpful to all departments to alert your local dispatch center when and where you'll be burning to prevent false dispatches or help speed up dispatches in the event a fire gets out of control.
