The woman charged with setting a fire that killed her boyfriend and infant child in 2021 pleaded guilty Friday.
Stefanie Sanders pleaded guilty to two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter and one count of Child Endangerment, while charges of murder and arson were dropped, according to court records.
Sanders was arrested in 2021 on allegations she set fire to a home in Vermilion, leading to the deaths of boyfriend Michael Phipps and infant daughter Nettie Phipps.
Sanders is scheduled for sentencing May 22.
