Eastern Illinois University's head volleyball coach Sarah Thomas has resigned Wednesday morning.
Thomas has been EIU's head coach since she was hired in December of 2019.
Along with Thomas, assistant coach Malono Concepcion's contract was not renewed.
Concepcion served on Thomas' staff from 2020 to 2022 as well as in 2024.
WEIU reached out to EIU athletics about why Malono Concepcion's contract wasn't renewed but they would not comment on personnel matters.
