Wednesday, 22 January 2025

The Eastern Illinois Foodbank is offering food giveways on Wednesday, February 12th to help families struggling with food insecurity throughout Coles County.

The distribution is part of the Foodbank's Foodmobile program, a system of mobile food pantries designed to help bring nutritious food to rural or underserved areas.

The Foodmobile truck will stop at 4 locations:
The Fire Department in Humboldt (8:45-9:15 A.M.), Main Street and Walnut Street in Oakland (10:00-10:30 A.M.), the Community Center in Ashmore (11:00-11:30 A.M.) and Main Street and 5th Street in Lerna (12:30-1:00 P.M.).

You can pre-register at eifclient.com, although doing so doesn't guarantee a place in line.
