Carle Health is making some changes to their mask and visitor guidelines.
Due to an increase of respiratory illnesses, all visitors and patients are urged to wear a mask, said the health facility.
Guidelines for Carle are often reviewed during peak respiratory illness season by national and state Centers for Disease Control Prevention to help decide what may need changed, said Carle Health Patient Experience Medical Director Robert Healy.
Carle Health said they will provide an update when levels are low enough for the restrictions to be lifted.
