Some improvements will be made on a central Illinois airport.
But before Willard Airport in Savoy makes any changes, they want to hear from the public.
Three major projects are looking to be completed, said airport officials.
The biggest improvement includes work on the airport terminal, said Willard officials.
The project is expected to fully replace two roof rections, two public use escalators, two elevators, evaluating and potentially replacing the main terminal lobby revolving doors and windows.
The design is expected to begin in 2026 and the construction on 2027 with a budget estimate of $6,500,000.
Other rennovations include paving an employee parking lot, and repairing or replacing sections of the general aviation aprons, said officials.
Both are expected to start in the spring and summer of 2025.
The budget estimate of each are $500,000 and $1,500,000.
