Another human case of the West Nile Virus is reported in Central Illinois.
A human case of the virus was diagnosed in Coles County in August, said Gloria Spear, Administrator for the Coles County Health Department.
It's not clear if the person contracted the virus in Coles County or outside of the area, Spear said.
This is the second human case in central Illinois this year, as Christian County health officials confirmed a case involving a person in their 60s earlier this month.
Most cases of the virus are mild, with flu-like symptoms, according to the CDC.
34 human cases have been reported since September 11th, according to the Illinois Department of Health.
