Eastern Illinois Women's Basketball Team Releases Schedule For Season

The Eastern Illinois women's basketball team has a better idea of who they will be up against this season.
On Wednesday, the team announced its 2024-2025 schedule.
This year's squad will be led by new head coach Marqus McGlothan who took over for Matt Bollant who decided to pursue other professional coaching opportunities at Bryan University.
Eastern enters the season after placing second in the Ohio Valley Conference in back to back years.
EIU will open at home hosting Illinois Wesleyan in an exhibition game on November 4th.
The remainder of the Panthers non-conference schedule will be against teams from the Big Ten and Big 12 including Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, and Iowa State.
The OVC tournament will return to Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana starting March 5th.
