Tower Hill Man Convicted of Sexually Assaulting Child

A Tower Hill man accused of luring children to his lakeside home has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a child.

On Friday, jurors found Chris Williams, 56, guilty of four counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child. He is schuled for sentencing March 10.

Investigators believe Williams performed four sex acts on a seven year old child in October and November 2020, according to State's Attorney Nichole Kroncke. Williams testified at trial denying the allegations.

Authorities believe Williams lured children to his home by allowing them access to recreational activities, then sexually assaulted children as they slept, Kroncke said. A second victim testified he was assaulted by Williams in the same way as the seven-year-old.
