Rail crossing in Villa Grove are back open after a train derailment.
Last night around 7:40 two Union Pacific train cars derailed in the Union Pacific rail yard just west of Highway 130.
Railroad officials said that no one was injured, and the derailment caused all crossings in the city to be closed.
Officials say the cars have been cleared and the crossings are open and repairs to the tracks are underway.
The cause of the derailment has not yet been determined.
