Officials Urge Residents to Log Their Travel

Tuesday, 31 March 2020

It's a small action that could have a big impact on stopping the spread of the coronavirus.

The Coles County Board is asking residents to keep a daily journal of where they've been, when they were there, and who they may have had close contact with.

Officials say a challenge in keeping COVID-19 from spreading is making people aware they may have been exposed to the virus.

To be clear, the Board is not encouraging people to travel. However, for essential workers and travel to the grocery store or gas station, this information could be critical.
