Clark and Crawford counties are both reporting their first case of COVID-19.
Health officials in Clark County say the resident is a woman in her 60s who's believed to have traveled out of state.
The Crawford County Health Department says the individual who tested positive in their county is a male in his 70s who may have been exposed after traveling to Arizona.
Earlier today, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 461 new cases of the coronavirus disease, which is considerably down from Sunday's count of 1,105 new cases.
The state is also announcing seven additional deaths, bringing the state total 73.
Health officials say 52 counties in Illinois are reporting cases of COVID-19.
In the WEIU viewing area, Champaign, Christian, Clark, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Macon, and Vigo (IN) counties are all reporting confirmed cases.
