Edgar County Emergency Management sends out a plea for help from individuals, businesses and private industries.
County officials say their collecting personal protective equipment for Horizon Health Hospital, nursing homes, and first responders.
Officials are collecting the following items:
N95 Masks
Surgical Masks
Tyvek Suits
Gloves
Goggles
Brand new items will be collected until 4pm Friday March 27th and again March 30th through April 3rd at the Paris Fire Training Center.
The site is not staffed so those willing to donate need to contact either Edgar County ESDA Coordinator Jill Taylor at (217) 251-9633 or Paris Fire Chief Brian Gates at (217) 712-0265 to coordinate a drop off time.
