A healthcare center in Edgar County is taking steps to try to prevent COVID-19 from entering, and spreading within, their facility.
Paris Healthcare Center has added visitor restrictions out of an abundance of caution.
Officials ask family members only visit their loved ones for urgent needs, such as end of life or if a visit is needed for a resident's well-being.
They will also screen anyone who comes into the facility.
Paris Healthcare says they will be sending weekly updates and contact families directly when the restrictions are lifted.
