Public Health Officials are warning of a multi-state E. Coli outbreak linked to fast food chain Jimmy John's, and they've reported cases in Illinois.
Illinois Department of Public Health officials said the outbreak is linked to sprouts served at Jimmy John's restaurants, and now 14 cases in five states have been reported.
Officials said six cases matching the outbreak have been reported in Champaign, Adams and Jackson counties in Illinois and they said people in other counties could have been exposed as well.
Jimmy John's notified stores to remove sprouts from menus nationwide on February 22nd.
