Shelby County Voting Will Become Easier

Shelby County voters are getting a new option when they head to the polls.

Officials say this new voting machine, seen below, will help with voting next month.

The new machine can read the ballot to you and has all the ballots for certain proceedings.

Before printing and submitting a ballot, the machine will allow voters to review their ballot to make any changes.

Officials say voters can still use paper ballots if they chose not to use the new machine.

They also say there will be multiple machines available.
