Murder Trial Begins for Michael Henslick

The trial is underway for a man accused of murdering a Mahomet woman back in 2009.

Michael Henslick is facing four counts of first degree murder in the stabbing death of Holly Cassano.

Henslick was arrested in August 2018, after DNA analysis of a cigarette left at the scene.

Henslick has pleaded not guilty on all four counts.

According to court records, a jury was seated on Febuary 10th, while opening statements were presented on February 11th.

Henslick faces life in prison.
