James Miller Pleads Guilty to Murder

A Terre Haute man faces up to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to DUI in a crash that killed a Coles County woman.

On Thursday, 57-year-old James Miller pleaded guilty to aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol during the crash on December 11th, 2018.

Authorities said April Fisher of rural Mattoon was killed in the crash.

According to court records, Miller will be sentenced on April 24th.

He remains in the Coles County jail.
