2020 Census Meeting

It's 2020 and with the new decade comes a new census.

Officials said informational meetings on the 2020 census will be at Charleston Carnegie Public Library this Thursday evening, starting at six, and the morning of Wednesday, February 5th from 10:30 to 11:30.

They said every household will receive an invitation to take the census.

You can respond online, by mail, or by phone.

Officials said answers are completely confidential, and a response is required by law.

A census is conducted every ten years to produce data about people and the economy of the United States.
