Coles County Teen Arrested on Burglary Charges

A Coles County teen is behind bars after police say he stole money from a library.
Mattoon Police arrested 18-year-old Kersh Anderson on burglary charges.
Officers say Anderson and a 17-year-old male entered the Mattoon Public Library while it was closed Sunday, stealing cash and electronics.
Anderson was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Coles County Jail.
The 17-year-old was processed as a juvenile and taken to a detention facility pending a court appearance.
