Demolition Set to Begin on Downtown Paris Building

Tuesday, 3 December 2019

Demolition is set to begin on a downtown Paris building.

Crews will begin demolishing the old Citizen's National Bank building on the south side of the square later this week.

The building, now owned by First Christian Church, suffered a wall collapse on its west side in September, forcing city officials to close a parking lane and one lane of Court Street for safety.

Pearman's Pharmacy, located next to the old bank, announced they'll be closed Friday due to the demolition.
