Despite state budget issues there are still reasons to celebrate at Lake Land College! Lake Land officials say the school is ranked 6th out of 48 community colleges in the state of Illinois by schools dot com. Lake Land College President, Josh Bullock, says the honor is a "reflection of the hard work of everyone at the college." Schools.com looks at seven categories of data from the National Center for Education Statistics and other independent organizations. The website says total attendance cost, student-faculty ratio, transfer rates to four-year institutions, and sustainability were factors that helped the college make the top ten.
