Former Neoga Officer Charged

A former Neoga police officer is charged with criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Jasper County State's Attorney Chad Miller says former officer, 40-year-old John Dilger was arrested last Friday and has since posted bail.
Miller says Dilger is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl and, depending on which crime he's convicted of, could face up to 15 years in prison.
Dilger's next court date is April 18th.
