The Coles County Board members will meet tonight to vote on an agreement regarding the Illinois Rivers Transmission Project.
Officials say the project is to construct a power line that crosses through part of Coles County.
Two years ago, the Illinois Commerce Commission approved the project that's expected to cost $1.1 billion and improve the power grids.
Officials say part of the agreement is from Ameren Illinois who will be held responsible for any of the road repairs that might be needed.
