New DNA tesing could help solve a six year old Champaign County murder case.
Holly Cassano was found dead by her family in November of 2009.
Officials say she died from multiple stab wounds.
The Champaign County Sheriff's Office hired a private forensic laboratory to do DNA testing of evidence from the crime scene.
Officials say the results statistically suggest that the DNA is from a male.
The results also suggest the male has some Hispanic, Native American, Central American or South American heritage.
Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to call the sheriff's department.
