For the third time this week an emergency alert was activated by Eastern Illinois University.
University police sent out the most recent alert early this morning about an incident at 4th and Polk streets.
The first came Sunday morning after reports of a robbery and battery near the south side of Booth Library.
The second came Thursday evening after a robbery between Lumpkin College of Business and Klehm Hall.
No arrests have been made in any case.
Police say to report any suspicious activity and use the "buddy system" to stay safe.
