Bird Tests Positive for West Nile Virus

A dead bird found in Charleston tested positive for a dangerous virus.
 
The Coles County Health Department says a crow found on August 23rd tested positive for West Nile.
 
The Director of Environmental Health Gloria Spear says 95% of mosquitos feed on small birds.
 
Spear says if you see a dead bird in your area, get a plastic bag and dispose of it.
 
She says there has been no reports of humans being infected with the virus.
 
The Centers for Disease Control say some symptoms include: fever, nausea, headache, and muscle aches.
