Matton Man Charged with Molesting a Child

A Mattoon man is facing charges after police say he molested a child.
Police arrested 51-year-old Kenneth Simpson last Friday in the 500 block of S. 21st Street.
He's charged with three counts of predatory sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
He remains in the Coles County jail.
