Eastern Illinois University's Board of Trustees plans to meet this week with its counterparts from a local community college.
Eastern's board said it will get together with the board from Lake Land College in Mattoon on Thursday.
Charleston-based Eastern has a service center on the Lake Land campus where students can explore their options for transferring to EIU.
The two boards plan to talk about other areas they can cooperate.
