If this 60 degree weather has you dreaming of a warm, summer day in the pool, you're in luck!
An official from Lytle Park has confirmed with News Watch that they'll be reopening the pool this summer.
The announcement comes after the pool closed for maintenance last season.
"Last year we had a pump go out (original pump was from 1993). That specific part was going to cost $40,000 and would take 9 weeks to get in and then installing the pump would have pushed us over the summer season," an official explained in an email. "So, our board met and decided that we would update our entire system."
That official went on to explain they already have all the parts ready for installation, which will take place sometime in the next few months, weather permitting.
"We look forward to a great summer swimming at Lytle Pool," officials said.
