The American Red Cross is once again asking for your help.
The organization says they're looking for volunteers to support emergency shelters for national disaster relief efforts.
All candidates must complete necessary training and be able to commit to a two week deployment, according to Red Cross Officals.
The search comes after Hurricane Helene devastated 10 states across the southeast U.S., including North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, according to The Red Cross.
"When disasters upend lives, Red Cross volunteers are on the frontlines providing refuge and comfort to people in their darkest hours," Chief Executive Officer of the Illinois Red Cross Celena Sarillo said. "They truly are the heart and soul of the red cross."
