IL Firearm Deer Season Harvest Totals

The numbers are in for this year's firearm deer hunting season with 76,854 deer harvested according to Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The organization said that number is up from last year's harvest of 70,411 deer.
According to the I-D-N-R, Coles County hunters brought in 682 deer, while in comparison, Clark and Shelby County hunters harvested more than 1,000.
Hunting season isn't completely over yet.
Archery deer season continues through January 15th, said IDNR officials.
