Tuscola is kicking off the holiday season with their Christmastown celebration.
Organizers said the celebration will go all weekend.
The the event will feature many events like a vendor fair, pictures with Santa, a parade and ice skating, said organizers.
The first event happening on saturday is the Santa Chase 5K Run/Walk and registration is happening at the community Building from 7:15 to 7:45 am organizers said.
Mattoon, Charleston and Effingham are also hosting holiday celebrations this weekend.
