Small business owners who are struggling can now get some much-needed relief.

Governor JB Pritzker annouced a new $90 million dollar emergency assistance program.

He says $60 million dollars of the fund will support low-interest loans of up to $50 thousand dollars for small businesses outside of Chicago.

Businesses with fewer than 50 employees and less than $3 million dollars in revenue in 2019 can apply.

Applications will be available on the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's website starting March 27th.

There, you'll also find other relief opportunities for small businesses.
